Ineke Vandevyvere

At the age of 6, I started with classical ballet.  I have since then not let go of my passion for dance. Besides ballet, I quickly developed a taste for other dance styles such as Jazz, Modern, Streetdance, Pointes and Ballroom/Latin dancing.

 

I followed several dance courses at Sporta and Fedes and was also a dancer at JS Dance Power. After successfully attaining my degree (Bachelor of Tourism) in Bruges I went to the Netherlands. I graduated in 2008 with a diploma in Bachelor of Dance at the Fontys Dance Academy in Tilburg. There I followed classes in Classical Ballet, Character dance, Pointes, Historical Dance repertoire, European Modern Dance, Cunningham, Graham, Limon, Jazz, International Dance, Hip-hop, Laban, Pilates, and Dance Expression.

 

As part of my studies abroad, I traveled to Lisbon to attend classes at the Escola Superior de Dança. In New York, I attended classes at several renowned dance schools like Ballart, Alvin Ailey, Dance New Amsterdam, Broadway Dance Center, and Cunningham studios. In Paris, I also followed various dance classes/workshops at Studio Harmonic. I took the course Progressing Ballet Technique and Chakra Yoga for Children.

 

I have worked on several shows and dance performances at home and abroad.
